About me

Thank you for your interest in counselling with me. Currently I provide 1-1 counselling services to Adults and Youth (15+). I practice an eclectic counselling style which means I utilize a range of psychotherapeutic tools and approaches. I also collect client feedback & offer psychoeducation from the start-to-end of services. This model allows me to tailor my treatment to each client and deliver client-centred and trauma-informed care. Additionally, my own lived experience contributes to my dedication to provide a negative-judgement-free counselling space for clients to feel safe and accepted as they share personal and confidential areas of their life. You will find I use empathy, genuine curiosity and humour to learn more about you as we explore and work on your counselling goals. I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling and Bachelors Degree in Child and Youth Care. I am registered as a clinical counsellor (#21763) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and have years of experience working with younger and older people. I enjoy self-growth and field-learning which help to challenge my therapeutic skills and preserve humility in my work with others. I currently offer in-person appointments in Surrey on Saturdays and telehealth (video or phone) appointments throughout the weekday and weekends. You can reach me directly by email at [email protected] for any questions or to schedule a no-cost phone call to see if we're a good fit or if I can direct you to another counsellor or support in your community. This initial conversation also provides space to answer questions you may have about the counselling process, coverage/pricing and availability.
