About me

I am a devoted and empathetic counsellor with a strong commitment to enhancing mental and emotional well-being, addressing interpersonal relationship issues, managing stress, navigating life transitions, or overcoming addiction. I have ten plus years of experience supporting young people, adults, and families in a variety of roles, with four years’ experience within a clinical setting. I operate from a curious, non-judgmental, and unconditional positive regard, which results in fostering a therapeutic relationship. Through a culturally sensitive lens and ethic of care, safety and trust is established for growth and healing. I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in addictions counselling. I have earned certification through the Prairie Institute of Expressive Arts Therapy for Expressive Arts Training Level 1 and Level 2 Consultant/Educator Specialization. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association and hold professional membership with the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. I am currently completing the registration requirements to become a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist with IEATA.
