About me

Hello and welcome! Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, so let me share a little about myself to help you determine whether I might fit your needs. My name is Julia (She/They), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) registered with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Above all, I strive to help my clients feel more like themselves and connect to a sense of meaning and fulfillment in their lives. The world and systems of oppression we operate within are incredibly difficult, and I hope to support my clients in living more authentically alongside their various responsibilities. I work with clients ages 13+ navigating life transitions and anxiety, neurodivergence, inter-cultural, relational, identity, LGBTQIA2S+, sexuality/sexual intimacy challenges, long-distance relationships, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to support you through an integrative, harm-reductive, sex-positive, person-centred, and deeply relational approach, informed by attachment, narrative, trauma-informed, existential, psychodynamic, and emotion-focused theory and modalities. I prioritize creativity and self-expression and find it helpful both personally and professionally, and am open to working in whatever approaches feel right for you. Our time together would be collaborative and informed by your goals, boundaries, diversity, and expertise on your lived experiences.
