About me

I’m Jeffery Driscoll, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and certified teacher and yoga instructor. For over two decades, I have been helping men, adolescents, and children from all backgrounds find maximal life meaning through work in the social services and wellness arena. As a member of the LBGT community and therapist of refugees and those who have faced childhood sexual abuse, I have seen the importance of helping men from all backgrounds feel authentically heard and empowered. How I Can Support You With over twenty years of experience as an educator and instructor, I have seen individuals struggle across the lifespan and have found ways to help them find accommodations to move forward to their maximal potential in school, work, and relationships. I have combined this knowledge with my lived experience, Yoga training, and education to create unique and integrated therapy for each client. As a member of the LBGT community, I have seen first hand the effects of systemic oppression on views of self others and the world, and can help you identify blocks that keep you from moving forward in life. With extensive experience working with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, I am committed to empowering you to find your own unique value systems and drive yourself towards the achievement of your goals through awareness and mindfulness. As a prior amateur Muay Thai enthusiast, I have grappled with weight-related issues in the sports world. Additionally, I have observed the unique set of barriers being a member of the LGBT community face, and how these barriers can lead to a need to exert control and power in ways that do not drive us to our maximum potentials. Coming from a place of empathy for adapting to survive, I can help you process the past and mobilize you to a more meaningful present. Why Work With Me I respect that each of us has our own way of finding and creating subjective well-being in life, and I help you to find your own unique way forward. This is created through empowerment and exploration of the trauma of the past or present that inhibits movement forward. I also help you identify relationship patterns that may prevent movement and help you discover new ways of being in the world through reflection and compassion work. Let’s Work Together When you feel ready to begin a journey of discovery with me, please book a consultation call or email me. Starting therapy can be scary and overwhelming, but when you feel authentically heard, the process of working collaboratively with a compassionate other can take you to a place of life meaning and maximal achievement.
