About me

I'm Chandni (pronounced Chan-duh-nee). I have a Master of Arts, Counselling Psychology (MACP), I am registered as a Counselling Therapist (CT) with the College of Counselling Therapy PEI, and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I am also an EMDR trained therapist and find this modality to be incredibly beneficial for a wide range of mental health concerns and wellness goals. I believe that the person is the expert of their own lives, so I utilize a person-centred approach to therapy. This means that you hold the answers, it just takes a bit of conversation to unearth those answers. Other modalities and interventions that I utilize in my therapy practice include: · EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) · Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) · Solutions focused brief therapy · Motivational interviewing · Narrative therapy · Gestalt
