About me

In the years I've been practising as a psychotherapist, I've learned the importance of developing a deep understanding of my clients and their struggles. I have eventually come to understand that this means I should strictly limit the number of clients I support. Rather than seek out as many clients as possible, I focus on a few clients in a deep and meaningful way. I am able to recall important details to make impactful connections across sessions because my focus is on a relatively small group of clients. Difficult times are inevitable. We all experience them and can sometimes use extra support. Whether the struggles are due to relationships, work, or general feelings of discontent, they are all valid and deserving of attention, empathy, and support. I will provide you a safe and non-judgmental environment to help you organize your thoughts, identify root causes of issues, offer feedback, and plan next steps. From my undergraduate degree at the U of Colorado to my counselling degree at the U of North Carolina at Greensboro to my experience as a high school teacher and assistant principal and, lastly, running my own counselling practice, I have developed the skills necessary to connect with and support my clients.
