About me
About Me As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Psychology and Christian Counselling, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing and personal growth. I have extensive experience working with survivors of sexual assault, couples navigating domestic violence, and their children. Additionally, I have helped individuals struggling with intimate relationship challenges develop healthier, more fulfilling connections. Currently, I work with Mind Matters Psychotherapy, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children, teenagers, adults, and couples. My work with children and teens focuses on teaching emotional regulation and coping skills while fostering resilience and self-awareness. For adults, I offer support in managing life’s stressors, and for couples, I help partners navigate turbulent relationships, rebuild trust, and cultivate deeper connection. My Approach I tailor every treatment plan to meet the unique needs, goals, and circumstances of my clients. Using a trauma-informed lens, I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Play Therapy Mindfulness-Based Interventions IFS Therapeutic Approaches Faith-based approaches (if desired) Trauma informed approaches I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and achieve meaningful change. Who I Help Children: Teaching emotional regulation and coping skills in engaging, developmentally appropriate ways. Teenagers: Supporting teens as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem, identity, peer relationships, and academic or social pressures. Adults: Helping individuals manage life stress, trauma, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Couples: Guiding partners in resolving conflict, rebuilding trust, and fostering deeper understanding and connection. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the power of tailored, compassionate care to promote healing and growth.
