About me

My name is Hossein Abdollahi Sani. I work as a psychotherapist and couple and family therapist in Toronto. I am a supervisor member of CRPO, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of CAMFT and OAMHP. My journey in the field of mental health began in medical school, where I gained a solid foundation as a general practitioner. This experience led me to a residency program in psychiatry, where I practiced for a decade. In 2012, I made a significant shift in my career, dedicating myself to psychotherapy. This unwavering commitment led me to CRPO acceptance in 2015 and earning certifications in family and couple therapy in 2023 by Guelph University and in 2024 by CAMFT. I have attained tremendous experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, Psychological Trauma, Addiction, and relationship and family issues. I am a supervisor RP approved by CRPO, and I supervise psychotherapists or master’s students starting their journey in mental health and psychotherapy.
