About me

Life can be tough, especially if you are feeling stuck, alone, stressed, disconnected, burned out, or like something is missing. It takes a great deal of strength and commitment to work on the difficulties you are facing, and you've taken an important step in making a change by looking for support. I offer individual adult and youth psychotherapy, as well as couples and family therapy. If you are experiencing anxiety, self-criticism, high expectations for yourself, self-doubt, relationship dissatisfaction, difficulties with parenting or family dynamics, or if you want to develop emotional insight and regulation skills, I am here to provide guidance and support. My approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I value co-creating therapeutic goals based on your existing strengths. I also value emphasizing the mind-body connection and using the knowledge we gain to inform our work together. I also work to recognize the impact that others, as well as the systems my clients are a part of, have on their well-being and therapeutic journey. Overall, I strive to help my clients find workable solutions for their difficulties, and to develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Our lived experiences shape us into who we are today and impact the way we interact with ourselves and within our relationships. I believe understanding our past, as well as how it is influencing our present, can support desired change and growth. I may also be a good fit if you want to: strengthen your communication skills, shape your life to be more aligned with your values and goals, heal past relational pains, set boundaries and communicate assertively, address perfectionism, manage stress and burnout, explore how to increase self-compassion, or develop emotionally informed parenting skills. I am committed to creating an environment that feels safe for you to explore the challenges you are facing, and supported to create meaningful change in your life. I also strongly value collaborating with you to meet your therapeutic needs with evidence-based practice and to create an approach unique to you. Please feel free to reach out for a consult.
