About me

Julia Griffiths is a Canadian certified counsellor and creative arts therapist who welcomes adolescents and adults to her practice. Julia specializes in building our capacity to notice- notice how we treat ourselves, behave with habits that both do and do not serve us, and engage in relationship dynamics. Through a creative blend of attachment theory and trauma-informed mindfulness practices, clients can better understand the relationship between how stress, their nervous system, and their capacity to regulate emotions are interconnected and influence how they see themselves and their roles in relation with others. Julia’s fundamental aim is to generate, through experience, a healthy and sustainable relationship with who you are to yourself. Through compassionate inquiry, trust, and a deep care for our humanity, she offers a space that allows you to notice and feel your presence, and from that place of awareness, identify what’s needed to achieve your goals.
