About me

I was drawn to counselling from a young age and have always been curious about why we think the way that we do, and how our brain can sometimes feel like it is working against us. This curiosity lead me through an undergraduate degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in counselling psychology. While completing my degrees I immersed myself in the field of mental health through working as a community support worker, behavioural interventionist, and crisis line phone operator. Since completing my master’s degree I have been working as a counsellor for five years. In that time I have managed my private practice, led men’s programs for non-profit organizations, worked in an interdisciplinary clinic, supported employee assistance work programs, and provided trauma counselling at treatment centres. I have a passion for working with men’s mental health, and helping empower my clients to be the best version of themselves. When I am not in my therapist chair, I can often be found spending time with my wife, daughter, and son, or in my garage tinkering with a woodworking project or on my classic 1965 Mustang!
