These labels can obscure the richness of the human experience. By embracing a high degree of curiosity, intrigue, and empathy, we can together challenge these limitations and uncover the hidden and often uncomfortable truths that lie just beneath the surface, causing us distress. This is the power of a curious approach. It allows us not only to uncover and address the underlying issues for the client’s benefit and relief but also to engage the counselor, who is equally invested and intrigued by the discoveries made through their own growing curiosity. With an open heart and mind, I invite you to embark on a journey of curious exploration. Through this unique therapeutic process, we can achieve greater interpersonal discoveries, understanding, and acceptance.
