About me

“Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love” – Berné Brown. At times, we are in a whirlwind of chaos. My goal is to help you untangle those moments to help you see your true self, which includes your strengths, struggles and life transitions. When we can see ourselves through a different lens, we may start to recognize a more authentic self, creating self-acceptance and self-love. Let’s work together to create a relationship based on trust, genuineness and acceptance. I specialize in individual, couples and youth therapy. My passion lies in meeting clients where they are currently, and to walk alongside their story, struggles and successes. I have a trauma-forward lens. I will remain non-judgemental, and empathetic while utilizing empirically-proven methods, tools and resources as I see fit. My journey to this profession took many turns and dives, which has made me more well-rounded and appreciative of change. I am eternally grateful for this journey. I was previously an instructor for an after-school program and a supervisor for programs working with children and youth in impoverished communities. As I changed professions to work in the cannabis industry, I recognized the greater need for mental health and wellness within our society. I am passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and reducing mental health stigma. That’s when I made the switch. I wanted to make a greater impact on a personal level and now am working full-time as a therapist. On a personal level, I am a mother, wife and proud dog owner.
