About me

Hi, I’m Aaron, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC# 21391) practicing online, and in person for clients in Surrey, BC. I strongly believe in the power of therapy to facilitate personal growth, healing, and empowerment. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their concerns. I hope to support you in finding resolution to your problems by guiding you to focus on yourself in a safe space to be heard. Approach to Therapy: My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I tailor my approach to suit the unique needs and goals of each individual, fostering a collaborative and client-centered therapeutic relationship. I believe that the therapeutic journey is a joint effort between the client and the counsellor; when a trusting relationship develops, it creates an environment for openness and growth - which are innate abilities that we all have potential for.I provide a supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors openly. Together, we will identify patterns, develop insights, and work towards meaningful and sustainable changes. Client Focus: I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities. I am committed to creating a welcoming space that respects and values each client's individual experiences and perspectives. Whether you're seeking assistance with a specific concern or simply want to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to support you on your journey towards personal growth and improved mental health. Confidentiality: I adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice and prioritize client confidentiality. Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance to me, and all sessions are conducted in a safe and confidential setting. If you're ready to embark on a transformative journey towards healing and self-discovery, I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Please feel free to reach out and schedule an appointment. I look forward to meeting you and helping you navigate life's challenges with resilience and empowerment.
